The energy problems we face today will only worsen if we don't act quickly to put all options on the table. American families are hurting, the economy is weak, and prices at the gas pump are at all time highs.
I support a full and balanced "all-of-the-above" energy policy that taps into traditional energy sources as well as alternative fuels, biofuels, wind, solar, nuclear, and other innovative and environmentally friendly ways of solving this problem.
Congress must stop getting in the way of American innovation and the free market. We need leaders to lead for the good of the people, not the benefit of special interest groups that stand in the way of progress.
