Back to School Costs Include High Gas Prices for Kansas Families.
It’s that time of year. Parents are out there buying notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, and other school supplies for their kids. But there’s an additional back-to-school expense to deal with this year—some of the highest gasoline prices we’ve ever seen.
Even though high gas prices are a burden to families who drive their kids to school and to school districts that depend on school buses, Dennis Moore voted against HR 6052 that would've provided funding for local school districts dealing with high fuel prices.
Rather than address our energy crisis, Dennis Moore has helped to further it through a combination of inaction and bad policies. Kansas families deserve better in Washington. They deserve someone who will fight for energy solutions.
