DAY 14 AMERICA HELD HOSTAGE BY FOREIGN OIL WHILE MOORE AND CONGRESS VACATION

Dennis Moore's "Kansas campaign talk" sounds nice,
but his "DC record" doesn't match his talk!

Dennis Moore paints himself as a moderate. And it’s a pretty thin coat. He’d have to spend his whole vacation painting to cover his highly partisan record in this Congress.

For instance, he voted to block consideration of HR 3089, a bill that would have provided incentives to alternative energy sources, expanded exploration and drilling, and established new refineries.

He did the same to HR 6566 a comprehensive energy bill aimed at addressing the crisis facing American families. And despite advances in environmentally friendly technology, Moore has voted specifically against lifting the ban on all off-shore drilling (HR 2643).

Nick Jordan has spent 13 years in the Kansas Senate getting things done, not blocking progress. It’s time to let him do the same thing in Washington.
