Dennis Moore: a partisan first, last, and always.
Kansans have been calling Dennis Moore's office demanding to know why he cast the tie-breaking vote to go on a five-week vacation—after refusing to allow discussion of a full and balanced energy bill that would address high gas prices and our ailing economy.
They also want to know why he isn't calling on Nancy Pelosi to immediately call Congress back into session for a vote on comprehensive energy policy. The answer is pretty clear that he's too busy schmoozing with Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Kerry, and other prominent partisans at the Democrat National Convention in Denver.
Interestingly, Moore’s Kansas Democrat colleague, Nancy Boyda, reportedly decided to skip the convention in order to focus on her congressional duties (Kansas City Star Prime Buzz, August 28, 2008).
Don’t 3rd District voters deserve the same from Dennis Moore?
