producers to explore and develop natural gas 25 miles off-shore!

Here's one for you. Did you know that Cuba has opened off-shore drilling exploration just 60 miles from Key West? That’s right. Of course, that’s something American energy producers aren't allowed to do—thanks to Dennis Moore and Congress.

Last year, Moore voted against a bill that would have allowed for natural gas exploration and development 25 miles off our coasts. That kind of voting encourages our dependence on foreign energy sources.

With oil prices through the roof and American families hurting, you'd think Representative Moore would encourage American-produced energy. Instead, he and Congress are on Day 12 of a vacation from energy solutions.
