Kansas City Star Columnist asks, "Is Dennis Moore Getting Desperate?"

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. - 3rd Congressional District Candidate Nick Jordan is giving Dennis Moore the fight of his life and Moore has plenty of reasons to be worried.

Moore's answer to "The $64,000 Question" (about the money he received from bailout companies in the hours after he voted to bail them out with $700 billion in hardworking taxpayer money) has left people all over the 3rd District puzzled and angry. Moore claims the money came in after his vote to bail out failed financial institutions on Wall Street, which is exactly why people are so upset to begin with.

Dennis Moore is running out of excuses so he has resorted to negative smear ads, avoiding the media, backing out of a debate, and refusing to give answers about his part in the economic crisis; which is the biggest concern for all Americans.

The actions of Dennis Moore haven't escaped a Kansas City Star Columnist:

Dennis Moore goes negative

By Yael T. Abouhalkah, Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist

"Is Dennis Moore getting desperate?

By now, the 3rd District U.S. House member ought to be coasting to another victory, as he has before. And he's usually running positive ads the last week of the campaign, sometimes even strumming a guitar.

But not in this race against Nick Jordan, the GOP's strongest challenger to Moore in a decade.

This weekend, Moore's campaign has been running attack ads against Jordan..."

Dennis Moore has a lot to run from and he knows it. For ten long years on the House Financial Services Committee Moore helped create the economic crisis by supporting policies that weakened oversight. He then voted for the $700 billion Wall Street bailout despite his constituents speaking out against it and the fact that no one else from Kansas voted for the flawed bill. Then, the revelation came that Dennis Moore has benefited from money coming from the failed financial institutions he voted to bail out.

It's time to "Wake up Washington" and fix our broken Congress and Nick Jordan is the man to do it. Steve Kraske of The Kansas City Star recently said that Jordan, "slapped Moore around in the last debate" and that he's "coming on like a runaway Mack truck."

Nick Jordan has a history of getting things done in the Kansas Senate over the last 13 years where he was known by former Governor Bill Graves as the "Velvet Hammer". Working across the aisle, and taking action run in Nick Jordan's blood and he's ready to fight for the 3rd district and "Wake up Washington" for America's future.
